The Importance of Magnesium

Magnesium has an important role in our body, It regulates muscle function, regulates blood pressure, cholesterol production, and healthy heart rhythm. Causes of magnesium deficiency can be : stress, low salt intake, Diuretics, Crohn's or Celiac disease. There are different salt forms of magnesium and each one is different in absorption and efficacy. The best forms of magnesium are : 1) Magnesium citrate , which is easily absorbed, and 2) Magnesium taurate : best choice for people with cardiovascular issues.

The worst forms of magnesium are : 1) Magnesium oxide -which is non-chelated and has poor absorption rate. 2) Magnesium sulfate : Unsafe form of dietary magnesium , due to overdosing.
