Is Keto Diet safe ?

To say that the Keto Diet has become of the most popular diets of recent years is a complete understatement. A high-fat, Moderate protein, and low carb eating approach- May help wight loss and lower blood sugar, but may have some unwanted side effects as well.

The keto diet could cause low blood pressure, kidney stones, constipation, nutrient deficiencies, and an increase risk of heart disease. The Keto diet is not really safe for those people with any conditions involving their pancreas, liver, thyroid, or gallbladder. Patients with kidney disease need to be cautious because this diet could worsen their condition. Additionally, some people may feel tired in the beginning , may have bad breath, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and sleep problems.

I always tell my patients instead of engaging in the next popular diet that's short term, to embrace change that is sustainable over the long term. A balanced, unprocessed diet, rich in colorful fruits and vegetables, lean meats, fish, whole grains, nuts and lots of water seems to have the best evidence for a long, healthier , and vibrant life.
