Dry Skin Brushing

You probably already know that the lympathic system in the body has the very unglamarous task of helping our cells and tissues take out the trash.

The 2 really big factors that go into lympathic health is the stimulation of skin and the movement of muscles around the lympathic vessels. Dry skin brushing is a fabouous way to make sure you are helping move the trash out.

Some other benefits of Dry Brushing :

  • Stimulating the lympathic system

  • Exfoliating the skin

  • Helping the body rid itself of toxins

  • Increasing circulation and energy

  • Exfoliation

The mechanical action of dry brushing is wonderful for exfoliating dry winter skin. It also helps detoxify by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage. Dry brushing also helps stimulate your nervous system.

As a general rule of thumb, you should only dry-brush one to two times per week. And don't forget to wash your brush with baby shampoo at least twice a month. If you have ultra-sensitive skin try dry brushing once every couple of weeks.

Have you guys ever tried Dry Skin Brushing ?
