Best Time To Take Your Supplements & Vitamins

I did a post in my page & blog post back in April : “ How to take different Supplements together “ . But , recently I’m also getting lots of questions on when is the best time to take certain supplements. There are few basic guidelines to follow: . - There is a little evidence that certain B vitamins interfere with sleep . So vitamins that may be better when taken in the morning include : Certain B vitamins , Vitamin C & vitamin D . - Vitamins & supplements that may be better when taken in the evening, close to bedtime include : Magnesium, vitamin B-3 ( niacin ) . Magnesium promotes healthy sleep . Also , in people who suffer from leg cramps at night , it may help alleviate that problem . - Niacin ( vitamin B-3 ) may help you fall asleep. However , you shouldn’t drink alcohol when taking niacin , since alcohol can accentuate niacin’s effects . - Certain Multivitamins should be taken with a meal that contains some fat calories . The reason is if they are “ fat-soluble “ , they are only absorbed properly by your body , when you take them along with some fat . - Calcium : Your body won’t absorb more than 500 milligrams of calcium at a time . So , you should divide up your dose throughout the day . Some research published in 2014 indicates that calcium may help you fall sleep . Many supplements products combine calcium & magnesium into one pill . - But , you shouldn’t take calcium at the same time as an iron-containing multivitamin or magnesium , since your body might not absorb it as well .

- Probiotics are best taken in the morning on an empty stomach: when the stomach is empty, digestive activity is quite and stomach acid and PH balance are relatively low, increasing the chances for the helpful microorganisms to thrive. . - I hope this post will help & lessen the confusion about how & best time to take certain supplements. Also , don’t forget to read my blog post from April, if you take too many vitamins & supplements. Let me know if you like to see more posts like this, drop me a note below. .
